| Description: | This monthly activity night is open to foster and adoptive families, prospective adoptive and foster families, and families interested in learning more about foster care and adoption. Training topics covered may include: sexting and internet safety, when cultures collide, parental burnout, effects of foster care on birth children, hoarding, cutting, and sexual abuse. Dinner will be served at no cost. Students majoring in Education and Social Work from Akron University will supervise and provide appropriate activities for all children in attendance.
