Hello! We would like to take a moment and thank you for your strength and courage in making the loving decision of adoption. We greatly admire you and are so grateful for you.

Our Story:
We met in graduate school and started out as great friends. We spent a year apart while Jared lived in another state and this helped us to grow closer to each other. We now live close to our families and see them often. We are both active, compassionate and caring people. We love being outside; hiking, biking, working in our gardens. We also love going to farmer’s markets and berry picking. We both love to exercise and take nightly walks. It is wonderful having the summers off together. We plan fun things to do and the best is just being able to spend time together with family and friends.

About Jared:
Jared is a High School social studies teacher. Jared always helps out at the school and volunteers there often to support the school and the district. He is hardworking and kindhearted. He doesn’t think twice about helping anyone or any animal in need. Jared has two older brothers and three nieces and two nephews (two have been adopted!). Jared loves to work on the house and the yard. Our lot is like a park and takes a lot of work each summer and Jared loves to landscape it. Jared has always had a love for comic books and we have a comic book room in our house. We love to go to comic book conventions and see movies together.

About Jess:
Jess has been a dance teacher for 16 years. She has performed and taught all over Northeast Ohio. She has a passion for dance and inspiring her students. She has a compassion for animals and takes care of our cats and outdoor animals as well as volunteers at a farm animal sanctuary. Jess has one older brother as well as a cousin she is very close to and has watched her son for 3 years. Jess loves to do yoga, bike and hike, going to concerts and art galleries, nutrition and cooking.

Our Home & Pets:
We fell in love with our house the moment we went through it. It had everything we were looking for in a house. It is a single story Tudor house with 3 bedrooms. It has an enclosed sun room and a beautiful park like setting. We live in a nice, quiet area, but are seconds away from restaurants and shops. There is a farmers market every Saturday, apple orchard, parks and hiking trails and our church is near by. We have 4 cats that are all loving and unique and we are crazy about them! We also take care of the wildlife and have deer, birds, squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks and butterflies visit regularly.
