Before we share our story, we would like to thank you for taking the time to view our profile. We appreciate your strength and courage as you consider adoption. When first starting our adoption journey it became more than clear to us that we would have to relinquish all control and put our trust in complete strangers. Which is exactly what you will be doing, we want to make sure that you know if we are fortunate enough to welcome a child into our home we would also be welcoming their entire family into ours.
When we were married nearly eight years ago we had the expectations of starting a family and having a houseful of children. We welcomed our now seven year old son, Braden, into our home just before our first wedding anniversary through a kinship adoption.
We try our best to live life to the fullest and experience everything we possibly can. Stephen is currently serving in the United States Army, while Allison is a stay at home mom who enjoys volunteering at Braden’s school.
Our home is full of love and chaos, with a seven year old boy and an active pup running the house, things are bound to get crazy. While our days may filled with adventures and messes, nights are for snuggling in with a good book and telling each other bedtime stories. We are all looking forward to the opportunity to add a new little one to our family and include them in all of our adventures.
To us, adoption is not just adding a child to our family; it is welcoming their entire family with open arms. We are open minded about open, semi-open or closed adoptions. We look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and get to know you as well.
