Birthdate: February 2003
Talishia is very bonded with her foster mom and currently lives with two of her olders sisters, and would need continued contact with her as she transitions into a new home. She is part of a large sibling group, including three younger brothers who are in need of an adoptive home. Our hope would be to have Talishia adopted with her brothers, but if that is not possible would hope that any family considering Talishia would also support and encourage a relationship with their brothers and older sisters.
Talishia is an outgoing and friendly young girl. She is loving, delightful and angelic. She has a smile that can light up a room and loves interacting and playing with her siblings. Talishia is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, but doesn’t let that stop her from being involved with and competing in the Special Olympics. She is wheel chair bound and delayed physically, cognitively, and emotionally. Talishia is in special education classes at school.
