Introduction
Dear Birthmother,
We are Brian and Wendy. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We hope that in this short time, you will be able to catch a glimpse of what a fun and loving family we are. Please know that we respect and admire your courage for being here and considering an adoption plan. We strongly believe that family bonds are made through love, not genetics, and adoption is truly a blessing. May the Lord guide you through this journey! God bless. ~Brian & Wendy~

About Us
Who would have thought that you could meet your soulmate through a dating website? Well, that is exactly how we found each other! We met in 2010, were married in 2014, and are just as in love today as we ever were. Neither one of us has been blessed with a child, and now we are hoping to expand our family. We have so much love to share with a child and pray that your gift of adoption will make that possible. As far as our interests go…we have many! We really love baseball and enjoy going to both Indians and Reds games during the summer. Since we are both teachers and have the “summers off,” we do spend quite a bit of time outdoors and traveling around the United States. We enjoy watching our nephews play ball, spending time with family and friends at the lake, and going out on our jet ski every chance we get. We also love boats, beaches, hiking, biking, amusement parks, water parks, museums, festivals, wildlife safaris and zoos. We enjoy being active throughout the year, and try to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. Needless to say, we can’t wait to finally be parents and share all our experiences with a child! We are absolutely thrilled with the possibility of becoming adoptive parents soon! We can’t wait to expand our family, and hope you will consider us as you embark upon this journey.

About Brian: In Wendy’s Words
Brian is my rock. He is my soulmate and best friend. He has so much love and goodness in his heart, and I know he will be an amazing father someday. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t thank God for bringing us together. My husband grew up in Ney, Ohio, a very small town in NW Ohio. He is the youngest of 3 and has roots both here in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Needless to say, we have quite the Ohio State/Penn State rivalry in our home! Brian is the kind of person who develops lifelong friendships. Many of his friends he has known since elementary school, and they still hang out like it was yesterday. Brian is a really intelligent fellow! He teaches high school math and has a masters degree in business. Lucky for me, he is a planner and a thinker. One of Brian’s true passions is baseball. He played in college and has been coaching high school baseball for 15 years. I’ve seen him working with young athletes and he really has a knack for teaching them values and empowering them to be the best they can be, both on and off the field. Brian “Coach Rock” accepted Christ to be his savior in 2014, and has been a follower of Christ ever since. He is the most kind, selfless and generous person I know and any child will be blessed to have him as their father.

About Wendy: In Brian’s Words
Wendy is truly the greatest gift that God has blessed me with. Without her, I would not have been introduced to Jesus and been able to fill a void in my heart that I have wanted to fill for many years. My patience has allowed me to marry my best friend. We do everything together and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I want so much to be able to give her the gift of a child and be a father someday. I hope you will consider us during this difficult decision. Wendy is a fourth grade teacher and I can see on a daily basis how much she truly cares for her students and how much they care about her. Wendy is one of the kindest people I know and would do anything for her family and friends. Wendy enjoys being outdoors, gardening and even playing video games. She has such a great variety of interests and is always willing to try different things. She has even become a big fan of baseball. I am confident that Wendy will make an excellent mother someday.

About our Home/Pets
Brian and I live in a quiet, safe, suburban neighborhood. We have extremely friendly neighbors, and there is a playground just down the street. There are many trees around our home that offer plenty of shade in the summer. Our two-story home has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an eat in kitchen, as well as a finished basement! We also have an awesome fenced in back yard, and comfy patio area; which is perfect for our 3 small fur babies and nieces and nephews when they come for a visit. 😊 Our 3 dogs are all quite small (under 10 lbs) and very friendly. We have 2 Chihuahuas and an Italian Greyhound. There are several parks located nearby our home as well as a fantastic pre-school (just down the block) and the community pool is within walking distance! We love our home, and hope to share it with a child someday.
