Hello! It is with grateful hearts that we thank you for taking the time to get to know us and for considering our family! Should you choose adoption, please know that your tremendous sacrifice is not lost on us. Likely, considering adoption for your baby was not a part of your plan, but know that regardless of what you decide you will always be a part of your baby’s story.
We have both family members and friends who were adopted and seeing the love and beauty shared by their families has been an inspiration to us. After walking through years of infertility, our hearts have been drawn to adoption. While infertility was not a part of our plan, we believe that adoption was always meant to be part of our story!
We are so excited to grow our family through adoption and we cannot wait to welcome our baby home! Should you choose us to raise your baby, know that you will forever be the one who loved them first! Our hope is to develop a positive relationship with you at your comfort level and for your child to always know the love you have for them.
We are praying for you as you make this difficult decision.
With love,
Justin and Elizabeth
About Us
Our Story:
We met through our church in early 2020 and soon started dating. At the end of the year, Justin popped the question! Our summer wedding in 2021 was the sweetest and most beautiful day of our lives! Just before Christmas we purchased and settled into our current home. We have spent the past few years turning our little property into a homestead complete with a garden, herd of miniature goats and chickens. Last year we brought home our puppy and started preparing our hearts and home to welcome our baby through adoption.
A few things about us:
- We are the perfect balance of extroverted (Justin) and introverted (Elizabeth).
- We both grew up in Catholic families and faith remains an important part of our lives.
- We value family and community. We are blessed to have the support of family nearby and a community of friends who are second to none!
- Going on long walks with our puppy “Ruben” is our favorite way to spend time together as a family.
- We enjoy reading novels out loud together! “Little Women,” “The Chronicles of Narnia” and “A Christmas Carol” are next on our list.
- Our favorite meal is Roasted chicken, homemade bread and fresh veggies from our garden!
- Our vacation of choice is anywhere in the mountains.
About Justin:
Justin is outgoing, ambitious and thoughtful. He loves social events, spending time with family and friends, and making people laugh! Being a Real Estate Appraiser, Justin enjoys the flexibility of his job and looks forward to this career that allows him to prioritize family!
Justin is a city boy turned country and loves caring for our garden and animals! He also enjoys reading, studying Latin, working out and home renovation projects. He looks forward to teaching our child sports and carpentry skills!
About Elizabeth:
Elizabeth is creative, thoughtful and sweet. She has a gentle and nurturing heart! Elizabeth worked as a pediatric nurse for four years and considered it a privilege to care for children in hard and scary moments. She now works from home on a hotline for women in crisis, but her dream job is to be a stay-at-home mom!
Elizabeth’s baked goods and homemade bread are famous among her family and friends. Her creativity includes painting, sewing and home décor projects. Elizabeth has always loved reading and looks forward to reading bedtime stories with her child!
About our Home/Pets:
Our Home:
We live in a sweet, little three bedroom Cape Cod that sits on one acre in the country. Our house is cozy, a little outdated and filled with love! Little by little we are working to update it and give it a farmhouse style all our own. We love the windows filling our home with light, the deck where we enjoy sunsets in the summer and the big backyard that will someday be the perfect place for our children to play.
We live just a mile from Elizabeth’s family and value the closeness that comes with living near family! Justin’s family lives about an hour away, but we enjoy visiting them frequently! Both our families are so excited to welcome the first grandchild!
Our Animals:
“Ruben” is our sweet Labrador Retriever! He is spunky, friendly and a little clumsy. Ruben’s favorite things are long walks, playing fetch in the backyard, meeting new people and of course treats!
“Opal” and “Iris”, our Nigerian Dwarf Goats are friendly, hilarious and have big personalities! We hope to have baby goats this summer!
Our flock of chickens provide us with farm fresh eggs every day. We enjoy watching them hatch their own chicks in the summer!
