Retreats for Birthmothers After Making an Adoption Plan for Their Child

PROVIDING SUPPORT

It is our hope that we create a positive and supportive retreat that meets the need, in some way, of every birthmother that attends. From our experience, the support network retreats provide is a huge benefit to birthmothers. We have heard from several birthmothers that these retreats were more helpful for them than any counseling they had received.

The program emphasizes providing you with valuable tools to help you continue growing as a person and cope with your adoption plan in a positive way. Birthmothers who have worked with any agency or attorney are encouraged to attend. Wherever you are in your journey, you are not alone here!

By Birthmothers, For Birthmothers

Our retreat encourages the building of a support network and resources among those who attend. Not only is the retreat for birthmothers, but it was also designed and is facilitated by birthmothers as well.

Lori, Caroline and Stephani work their hardest to ensure the retreat is a safe, welcoming environment where you will have the opportunity to express your thoughts and concerns with other birthmothers, so you can explore your adoption journey without fear of judgment.

A Note From
Our Facilitators

“These services were created to help you gain the support you need post-placement. As birthmothers ourselves, we understand the grief you may be experiencing. We know what it’s like to feel alone and misunderstood. You are not alone here; we get it!

Adoption is a life-long decision and that decision deserves life-long support! Our post-placement services encourage the building of a support network and resources among those who participate.”
