We offer free and confidential support 24/7 via text, phone, or email.
Caring for Birthmothers offers a weekend retreat to provide support for women who have made an adoption plan for their child. Our retreat encourages the building of a support network and resources among those who attend. Not only is the retreat for birthmothers, but it was also designed and is facilitated by birthmothers as well. Wherever you are in your journey, we offer free and confidential support.
Caring for Birthmothers is a post-placement program that offers several opportunities for support and healing. It promotes a sense of ongoing community and understanding, and the support is tailored to birthmothers’ unique needs. These services were created to help you gain the support you need post-placement and it is our philosophy that birthmothers do not have to pay to attend.
Caring for Birthmothers Retreats and Post Placement Support Services are sponsored by Caring for Kids, donations and programs such as The PAIGE Foundation, Akron Community Foundation, and Women's Endowment Funds. We are continuously seeking partners and support to maintain these free services.
Not sure if you are ready to attend a retreat yet but want to learn more about them and meet new people with similar experiences? We would love for you to join us at a “Pizza Meet-Up” for the opportunity to meet other birthmothers and have fun.
