We believe you don’t “give up” your child for adoption. Instead, by working with an adoption agency you’re choosing to make a loving adoption plan. Facing an unplanned pregnancy can be an extremely confusing time, but we’re here to help. If you are considering making a loving adoption plan, we are here to help you explore your options.

It’s never too early or too late to contact us – even if you just found out you’re pregnant, are in the hospital, or have already delivered.

Exploring an adoption plan

While exploring an adoption plan, Caring for Kids, Inc. will never obligate or pressure you to place your child for adoption. We will, however, help you identify all of the various options available to you. Our social workers will provide you with guidance, education, and most importantly, support during what can be an overwhelming time in your life.

Caring for Kids understands and respects that placing a baby for adoption is not an easy choice. Every parent is unique and may have different needs and desires for their child. If you decide making an adoption plan is the best option for you and your child, we will guide you through the entire process.

When you feel ready, we can meet with you face to face at a time and place of your choosing. You’re welcome to bring along a friend, family member, or anyone else you may want to be involved!

 

We encourage all parents to be actively involved throughout the decision-making process in order to help us identify what is most important to you, including choosing your adoptive family and deciding what level of on-going contact is right for you. Caring for Kids will be by your side every step of the way.
