Abby LaCourt

Abby was born and raised in Wisconsin. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2019. She moved to Ohio in 2021! Her most recent position before Caring for Kids was as a Cognitive Skills Specialist facilitating classes with adults in the criminal justice system in residential and non-residential settings. She does have experience working with kids as well, including experience in behavioral health, and working with adults and children with special needs. Adoption is near and dear to Abby’s heart since her family has multiple people who have been adopted, have adopted, and also who have placed children for adoption. She is very excited to be working here at Caring for Kids and hopes to gain skills and knowledge to be the best resource possible here in this position! And yes, she is a die-hard Packers fan.
