Retreats for Birth Mothers After Making an Adoption Plan for Their Child
It is our hope that we create a positive and supportive retreat that meets the need, in some way, of every birth mother that attends. From our experience, the support network retreats provide is a huge benefit to birth mothers. We have heard from several birth mothers that these retreats were more helpful for them than any counseling they had received.
The program emphasizes providing you with valuable tools to help you continue growing as a person and cope with your adoption plan in a positive way. Birth mothers who have worked with any agency or attorney are encouraged to attend. Wherever you are in your journey, you are not alone here!
Retreats are offered 3 times a year at no cost for you
- 2 nights lodging
- 5 delicious meals
- Variety of snacks and beverages

* It is our philosophy that birth mothers do not have to pay to attend. Caring for Kids desires our retreat to be accessible to all birthmothers who have made an adoption plan.

By Birth Mothers, For Birth Mothers
Our retreat encourages the building of a support network and resources among those who attend. Not only is the retreat for birth mothers, but it was also designed and is facilitated by birthmothers as well.
Anna, Caroline, and Stephani work their hardest to ensure the retreat is a safe, welcoming environment where you will have the opportunity to express your thoughts and concerns with other birthmothers, so you can explore your adoption journey without fear of judgment.
