Cayla Dunn

Cayla graduated from Kent State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Upon graduation, she joined a local public welfare agency as an Investigations Caseworker. In 2015, she became an adoption assessor for the state of Ohio and began her work in the adoption unit where she found her passion, assisting youth in finding permanency until February 2024. She then joined a local County Board of Developmental Disabilities as an SSA, serving individuals and their families until joining the Caring for Kids team in January of 2025, after quickly missing working with children and teens.


Cayla is also an adoptive mother to her creative, caring, and energetic son and birth mother to her free-spirited, kind hearted, and loving daughter. Cayla is a dedicated and compassionate advocate for the youth she serves and believes that every child deserves a forever home. She is determined to help her youth find and form lifelong permanent connections.
