Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from The University of Akron in December 2009, after completing her internship here at Caring for Kids. She began her social work career as a contracted Adoption Assessor completing homestudies and post placement work with Caring for Kids while working full time as a Case Manager for a Therapeutic Foster Care Network in Tallmadge, Ohio. She continued her education to earn her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Akron in May 2011.
Erin joined the Caring for Kids team full time in May 2013 as part of the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program. She transitioned into the position of Birth Parent Counselor in 2015. Erin has a passion for working with children and families and loves working with prospective birth families and prospective adoptive families.
