The Fostering Futures Fund
After 17 years of outstanding leadership at Caring for Kids, our Co-Executive Director, Pat Ameling has begun stepping back from her director role as she looks toward retirement. As she begins to transition toward this in 2023, she will remain with the agency working with various projects.
We are forever grateful for Pat’s influence and direction at Caring for Kids and are pleased to announce that we have launched The Fostering Futures Fund in her honor. This fund will be an annual gift awarded to a young adult who was impacted by foster care. This gift could range from a college scholarship to an investment in a vocational opportunity to helping provide a fresh start for an emancipated teen. If you would like to help seed this fund with a gift in honor of Pat’s service and dedication, you can give here via Paypal or send cash or check at any time with Fostering Futures Fund in the memo. Beginning in 2023, nominations will be accepted and Pat will decide each year’s recipient of the award.
Donations can be mailed in or dropped off at our Cuyahoga Falls office (650 Graham Road, Suite 101 Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221) during regular business hours. Mon. – Fri. 8:30am – 5pm.
