Katie Kontorchik, LPC
Katie holds a Master’s of Education at Kent State University in their Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Katie’s experience revolves heavily around serving at-risk youth, individuals and their families in a variety of settings. Some of these include being a Family Advocate for Head Start and Early Head Start, the Resident/Child Advocate at a Domestic Violence Homeless Shelter, as well as a Behavioral Health Specialist for a local non-profit mental health agency. These roles have afforded her the opportunity to build a skill set that encompasses childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, family violence, parenting, behavioral concerns, as well as supporting children and families involved in the foster care system. She also has experience working with individuals of all ages navigating family dynamics and interpersonal relationships that impact their lives. Katie’s hobbies include hiking with her dog, gardening and reading.
