Renee Baker, LSW

Renee has been involved in the field of child welfare for 28 years. She began her social work career working as a Protective Services caseworker for a local public agency. A few years later she was hired as an Adoption Social Worker with the same agency, advocating for permanency for youth in foster care. She later became employed as an Adoption Assessor for a private international adoption agency where she eventually served as the Social Service Administrator and then the Ohio Program Administrator for many years.


Renee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Baldwin-Wallace College. She is a Licensed Social Worker and a Certified Adoption Assessor. Renee joined Caring for Kids in 2015, and is currently the Supervisor for the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program. She is passionate about finding long term connections and permanency for youth and is excited to be a member of the WWK team!
